Nadam se da ste svi poslali pismo lokalnim poslanicima (MP) sto je bila na http://www.serbiancouncil.org.uk/

Ovo pismo mozete poslati e-mail-om vasem MP-u preko http://www.writetothem.com/ znaci nemorate čak ni pismo da saljete nego samo copy/paste vasem MP-u. Ja sam dobio već 4 odgovora, dva od Margaret Beckett MP, jedno od (vestice) Theresa May (Home Secretary) i još nekog m-udon-je iz parlamenta. Molim sve koji čitaju ovaj SC i vase prijatelje da posalju mejl preko http://www.writetothem.com/ da znaju da postojimo u ovoj državi.

Samo da napomene da sam poslao sve ove detalje serbiancoucil-u još pre 4 meseca da objave ali izgleda da rade samo ono sto oni žele i nisu spremni na kompromis i sugestije!!! (toliko o Srpskom savetu)

RE: REVIEW OF THE VISA REGIME FOR SERBIA

Dear Mr/Ms ,

I understand that the Government will be reviewing its existing visa regime with Serbia during 2011. I would like to ask for your support to ensure that Serbia is short-listed for this review.

Many British Serbs find arranging for family and friends to visit from Serbia prohibitively expensive. Most of the visits are by close family who are regular visitors and the process is excessively bureaucratic and time consuming for everybody concerned.

As a UK taxpayer, I also understand that the cost of the visa regime for citizens of Serbia is costly to the UK. I would therefore welcome a relaxation in visa restrictions for Serbia, as was agreed by the EU Schengen Area a year ago. This would strengthen the friendly relations between our two nations and be a welcome landmark on the road to Serbia’s integration into the European Union.

I should be grateful if you would inform me of your position on this matter and how it might be progressed.
